Depending on the application, point, line or snapshot sensors are used to measure heights, dimensions, surfaces and profiles.<br><br>Many optical quality control tasks can be reduced to simple inspection algorithms and do not require a complex PC-based image processing system. For these tasks, vision sensors are the obvious tool.
